The 2023 Butte County Veterans Stand Down Committee is wrapping up the final preparations for this year's event. Thank you for visiting our website. In addition to learning about the mission and purpose of a Veterans Stand Down, members of the community can sign up to volunteer and donate to the NVCF Fund supporting the event. There is also a place where service agencies can sign up to participate. At this time, we have over 40 local, county, government, and VA agencies signed up to provide services to our veterans.
This year we are excited to have our transportation routes and schedules available. It is not necessary to pre-register for the event or transportation. We are grateful with anyone who is able and willing to pre-register.
The Butte County Veterans Stand Down Committee is grateful to the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 582 for being the parent organization for the Stand Down the last two years. We are excited to announce that we have a new parent organization, V.E.C.T. O.R.S. (Veteran Executive Corporation To Organize Rehabilitative Services). We are also grateful to the North Valley Community Foundation for creating the Butte County Veterans Stand Down fund that accepts tax deductible contributions to financially support the event.
The Butte County Veterans Stand Down Committee is a group of volunteers working together to make the Butte County Veterans Stand Down possible.
